The Run-in

I've been so stinkin' busy lately that I just have not had time to
update my blog.  Most of the pictures on this post show the process of building our run-in.  Robby & Dad did an AMAZING job!!!

They started on the run-in March 27th.

There was sooo much stuff here before.  The previous owner had left all kinds of wood and trash in a big ol pile.  We've been wanting to clean it up for 3 years.  Finally, with the help of our awesome farmers and their big machines, we got it cleared!!

"Oh my gosh!  It's a nail!!" hahaha he didn't say that, but doesn't he look like he should have? I ♥ him.

My cute daddy :)

*says this like aliens on Toy Story* "The sAAAAAAAAw."

HRH Theodore Riley hehe

From that big pile of wood and junk we sorted through the wood and kept the pieces that were decent and the crappy pieces got burned.  It was a HUGE fire.

I ♥ fire.

March 30th

While Dad & Robby were working on the run-in I was cutting the grass in the garden.  Man it was hot!
April 7th
Doesn't Robby look so cute? hehe

Isn't this so cool!?

Farmers came that day and planted corn.

I ♥ this man.

While the men worked on the run-in, Melissa, Mom, & I got to load this wood onto the trailer and then unload it on the other side of the barn...fun...NOT!
Yummy sweet strawberries from the garden.  Sooooo good!

Jess bought this from Lowes. I've never seen one like this!

Putting tar on the holes of the tin that was extra tin left behind by the previous owner.

Woo! First few pieces of tin on the side!  Some day soon we'll paint it red.

Our beautiful azalea's
Where the pile of wood use to be.  Booya! It's cleared!

Next task, clean up backyard.

No, these weren't for Christmas.  Worse, they were for Melissa's bday last Oct lol  We just never took them down.

It was pretty at night!

I love the tin on the side here.

Cutie pie

Almost done!

Robby's new hammer.  That thing is a beast!  He loves it though.

Don't miss!

Our Katie Bear.  Isn't she the cutest little thang?

Lawn furniture, gone!!

Lights, gone!

I love seeing the sun through those globes.

Our sunsets rock.

Just being artsy.

Officially completed 4/26/12!!! Other than painting it red.

Hay thrown down ready for SweetPea.
