Pregnancy Update & new doors

SweetPea pregnancy update!!  Yesterday her utter was getting real full and two of her teats were too.  We thought she was about to go into labor, but it was a false alarm.
Getting nice and full!! Can't wait to have her milk. =D

Loves her salt lick.

She always follows us when we leave and here lately will moo at us when we reach the porch.  Makes you not want to leave!!! What a sweetie pie she is.

Yesterday evening Robby & Dad started on the doors that will go inside the run-in.  They will be on tracks against the barn.  The left one will open into the stall, and the right one will open into the milking parlor.  We have not built the milking parlor yet, but we will soon!!  We did however order the milking machine and milk machine cleaner yesterday.  Super excited about that!

Lookin' good!! And so is the door hehe

This morning SweetPea was dripping some colostrum from her front right teat! Getting closer!!  Her utter feels tighter today too and her teats feel like water balloons.  She still hasn't had that ligament go spongy yet, so still not time. =( I'm so anxious to see her calf!
Made some spray to keep flies off of her.  They were driving her nuts!! Worked good =)

♥ She is precious  ♥
(Next 3 photos taken with phone) Melissa and I groomed her today.  Got her all washed up back there and brushed her good.

All clean!!
Enjoying some good hay.

I am loving this new life we have!!

Welcome Home SweetPea!!!

After being gone for 13 hours we FINALLY made it home!!!
That was one long, and tough trip.
Home Sweet Home
Unfortunately thanks to being out in the heat all day Saturday I got heat exhaustion real bad.  I started feeling bad on the way home and didn't realize my temperature got high.  I was sooo bummed because I couldn't stay outside for long after she got in her pasture. =(
Thankfully Melissa took some great pictures =D

Robby backing Sweet Pea up to unload her in the paddock.

Daddy getting rid of our "tree" aka dead red maple stick lol

He is the master at backing up trailers!!
Her paddock.  She will have more, but we wanted a small one near her run-in for right now.

Temporary fencing.  Worked great!!  She's use to it from West Wind Farms.

She was very ready to get out. =)

Dad moved the hay out of the trailer so she wouldn't slip.

Hmmmm, not so sure about this...

Seems nice...

First steps onto our farm!!
Oooh, this smells good!

She went straight for the clover!

My goodness.  Isn't she just so cute?!

Really enjoying that clover.

She walked the whole perimeter of the paddock so she knew where her boundaries were.  Such a smart girl.  SweetPea was already use to electric fencing from where we bought her so she didn't even have to get zapped to know she couldn't get passed the fence.

SweetPea LOVES her run-in!!  It was so cute because she inspected it then stared at us like,
"I get all of this to myself?!"  hehe
hehe soooo cute

Theodore was not very fond of SweetPea.  He was pretty scared hehe

Robby loving on his new girl.

Good scratching place!

Oh yeah! That's the spot!

She is the prettiest cow I have EVER seen!
hehe and so silly :D
Someone was lounging in the tall grass =P
Peek-a-boo.  I see you!
Seriously, the most adorable cow EVER.

I'm so thankful our sweet girl is home safe!
Thank you to those who prayed for our safe travels,
and most importantly, thank you God for letting us have this sweetheart and for letting us make it home safe. ♥ ♥ ♥
