Fence posts & some finishing touches on Saturday

First up, fence posts!!  This took a few days and was NOT easy.
I was not built for this lol
Thankfully they are all up ready for high tinsel wire!

Screwing together two posts for extra support.

The auger bit that attaches to the tractor.

About to dig the first hole!

Momma looked so cute driving the tractor.

One of the posts we dug and set.  I think we had done about 6 or 7 at this point.

After digging and setting posts all afternoon this is what his hair looked like haha

"I'm post digging boy!!!"

Stinkin' thing got stuck for the 2nd time. Dah....

I helped Robby the day before when it got stuck and it really hurt my arm.  We had to dig by hand for at least 2 feet.  No me gusta!

So while they dug this time, I took artsy pictures!

This past Saturday was a very work filled day!! We had a big ol list to complete before picking up SweetPea the next day.  I don't have pictures of everything we had to do.  This is the day I got really overheated and didn't realize it until Sunday morning I was working too much in the heat.  It took me 3 days to get over!  Annoying.  I kept having my temp go up, my head was pounding, & I was really weak/dizzy.  It was no fun let me tell ya.  I'm all better today though :D

And so the hard day of work begins.

See me in the background? I'm sniffing hay lol I had to make sure the darker parts weren't moldy!  That was a terrible job.  I was covered with with & I'm allergic to it.  I was so itchy!

Robby working on the salt lick box.

Aren't they adorable?  Rolling up temp wire.

One of the step-ins for the temporary fence.

Mom and I got to do this "fun" job.  Picking out the hay that was moldy.

Setting the temp fence up.

Momma was helping him. :)

Salt lick box!! Great job baby!

Himalayan Pink Salt Lick.  SweetPea LOVES it.

Finally got all that moldy hay out and taken to the compost!  Thank you to our wonderful neighbor Jimmy who gave us this hay!!! What a blessing to have such wonderful neighbors!

Robby working on the feed box.  He was a building machine!

Packing up hay, water, halter and lead rope for Sunday.

Stall is all ready!! We actually haven't put her in it yet.  She was use to being left outside and she's been doing great just going into the run-in.  When she has her calf though we will put them in the barn so coyotes don't get the calf.

Temp fence wire.

Robby & Dad did the bracing for the high tensile fencing, but didn't have enough time to run the wire yet.

Bringing the trailer home.

Dad said when they picked it up it was full of poop!  He said there was just poop everywhere and about a 2in glob of poop covered the entire floor.  Isn't that nasty?!  All clean now!!! Those red gates aren't with the trailer.  They bought those for the farm.

haha He looks so amused C:

All done with the feed box!

My man is so good.
Then Robby built the mineral box.  I was the sander hehe
By the time we got done with everything that night and I finally got to shower off all the nasty mold and dirt, it was 11pm when I crawled into bed.  Man I was so tired.  I only ended up getting 3 hours of sleep because we had to wake up at about 2:15 the next morning to get things together to leave by 3am.
